Bush Garden at St Erth

In 2012 a restoration of the bush garden, integrating the magnificent borrowed landscape of the surrounding Wombat State Forest, was designed by landscape architect Andrew Laidlaw.

Preserving many of the species endemic to the site, the sensitive restoration ensured the original content and feel of the bush was preserved. The bush garden is now an integral feature that seamlessly blends with the ornamental and productive gardens at St Erth, where visitors can wander through peaceful gravel paths evocative of original bush tracks to enjoy birdsong and blended native and exotic plantings in a forest setting.
